"While I worked thirty years as the Head of the Department of Physical Medicine in the Helsinki University Central Hospital, Finland, it was a part of my duty to look into hundreds of medical devices associated to physical medicine, and evaluate their functionality and effectiveness and give an opinion about their suitability to treat patients’ problems.

Therefore I was immediately interested as I was years ago offered a FinnHook for purchase at the marketplace of my own hometown. I instantly noticed what a useful treatment device it was. The first patient was my wife, who had severe pains in the neck and shoulder area, and very tense neck and shoulder muscles. With this Hook she was cured from these troubles! After that I received Hooks from the marketer for research purposes. There were lots more voluntary test patients than I could accept. The results for the Hook’s effectiveness in treating discomforts were surprisingly good.

Treatment with FinnHook in a way combines massage, acupressure and effects transferring through the nerve system. The mechanism of the most common help is releasing muscle tension and tenseness and creating relaxation. This causes the blood circulation in the tissue to improve and increases the supply of oxygen, which lessens the pain.

A simple invention can be excellent. For example a safety pin consists of a steel wire and a piece of tin. Still it is one of world’s most common necessities. FinnHook belongs to the same category of simple but still efficient artefacts. May it also spread through the world because it helps people who are suffering."
